Introduction

MajorLink provides a platform connecting prospective and current college students with verified college seniors, juniors, and alumni for private 1-on-1 video mentorship sessions. Sessions cover college majors, campus life, Greek life, career prospects, and honest university experiences. These Terms govern your access to and use of MajorLink. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, or at least 13 years of age with verified parental consent.

Use of Platform

Users are expected to maintain a respectful and constructive environment. Use of the platform is subject to the following rules:

• —You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and communications.
• —You must not attempt to bypass MajorLink's booking or payment systems.
• —You must not record, screenshot, or redistribute session content without consent.
• —Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will result in immediate termination.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password. Any activities that occur under your account are your sole responsibility. MajorLink reserves the right to disable any user account at any time if we believe you have violated these terms.

Pricing & Payments

Sessions are priced at $40 for 30 minutes and $80 for 1 hour, processed securely through Stripe. All prices are flat rates with no hidden fees. Before completing a booking, you must confirm your acceptance of these Terms via the booking confirmation step. Payments are non-refundable except as described in the Cancellation Policy below.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable. No-shows by students are non-refundable. No-shows by mentors will result in an automatic full refund and a strike on the mentor's account. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.

Mentor Responsibility

Mentors are independent contractors and not employees of MajorLink. Mentors must be currently enrolled college students (juniors or seniors) or recent alumni, verified via student email. Mentors are responsible for the quality and honesty of their sessions. MajorLink does not guarantee specific outcomes, academic results, or admission decisions. Mentors must not write application essays, guarantee admissions, or provide professional advice outside their lived experience.

Reviews & Feedback

Users may post reviews and ratings after completed sessions. Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain offensive language, personal information, spam, or content unrelated to the session.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MajorLink shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. MajorLink is a facilitator — we connect students with mentors but do not control the advice given during sessions.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings. MajorLink reserves the right to restrict or suspend your access at any time without prior notice for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users.
